Sizober

Not biking up the mountain on Johnson Avenue has really changed the experience for me. Instead of saving all the exertion for a mile or so of climbing into the heavens (where the Keathlys live), I spread it liberally along Franklin from Cedar to 3rd, and in doing so get to enjoy things like night air and the smells from the bakery about half way here. I’m even not completely dead from the experience!

Tonight in Hitchcock the professor was lecturing about Psycho and pointing out Anthony Perkins’ ability to go from serious and scary to youthful and smiling in the blink of an eye. For some reason this prompted me to make the switch every time he looked in my direction. I don’t know if he noticed, but this could be a new fun way for me to stay awake during lectures.

Working forty hours a week is really strange. I’m not even sure that I’m doing it. I keep expecting my old skills of organization and focus to come back, but I’m so much busier now. Nonetheless, I might get to do fun things like write a quick application to assist in booking acts into the Whole Music Club. Please note that I said a quick application — things that seemed hopelessly daunting just three years ago now seem just a few days away.

Of course, they want mp3, image, and video uploads, which I don’t want to deal with again. I mean, yay!

If anyone was wondering, I had a really fun time at my party. Everyone was super awesome and the conversation was dirty and great. I can’t thank Paul enough for the new design — I’m really happy with it. It doesn’t seem fair that I get to keep it all to myself, but the rest of you will just have to stop by if you want to enjoy it. :)

  1. I don’t just read your blog posts through my feed reader anymore… it just doesn’t seem right.

  2. I echo what Jesse wrote: awesome job, Paul! Did I happen to mention that I’ll be needing help designing my website this summer…? I wonder who I could get to help me… hmmm…

  3. I don’t often enjoy parties, but I had a good time at yours. I was surrounded by nerds and nerd-lovers. Me likey. My cell thanks you for the candid moment. And for not unzipping your pants prior to the snapshot.
