Oh yeah, the linear algebra class is using a different book, so I’m out $90 for a used one.

   The one by Goode, which so far is pretty terrible.

   Ah - we used the one by Strang - Introduction to Linear Algebra - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0961408855/sr=8-6/qid=1150755731/ref=pd_bbs_6/104-1158098-3474353?%5Fencoding=UTF8 - it was pretty good.
