   The distance is 70 feet.

   70 foot plus the distance from the bottom of the bridge to the footdeck.

   Speaking of NOT dying from a suicide attempt: Even worse than not dying is losing all your hair and going bald from a massive intake of death-defying drugs. Although, hmmm, never having to pay for haircuts again, or color jobs….. And I could get up even later in the morning…..
